Youtube enthusiasts rejoice – The Found Footage Festival is coming to the Music Box Theatre on Saturday, June 16!
And they’re bringing video cameras…
This festival-turned-touring show is filming their Volume 7 DVD at the independent movie house in Wrigleyville. For those not familiar with FFF, it is a self-described “a one-of-a-kind event that showcases footage from videos that were found at garage sales and thrift stores and in warehouses and dumpsters across the country”. In other words, founders Joe Pickett and Nick Prueher take you on a comedic odyssey through a series of unintentionally hilarious videos. Could there be a better way to spend a Saturday night?
Oh, and tickets are only $12! Grab them now, because we have a feeling they won’t last long.
An aside: FFF was featured in the documentary Winnegabo Man, which we highly recommend!
